  Michigan Regional Flagship

Unit Registration and Monies are due by 17 FEB 2008

The Michigan Regional Flagship will, again, be held at Finch Field House on Central Michigan University's campus. The registration cost will be $30.00 per person whether staying or dining on-board or not. Cadets and enrolled staff members will need to have local training order forms turned in upon arrival.

ARRIVAL

Units need to arrive Friday and check in anywhere from 1800 until 2200 - later for emergencies but absolutely not after 2400. Please park on the south side of Finch and enter through the quarterdeck at the southwest corner (Main Entrance to the building) and check your unit in immediately upon arrival. All units are to bring a complete roster of cadets attending with a listing of rank and cadet's sex.

SECURITY

For the safety and security of all cadets, NO cadets will leave the building except with permission from the OOD. Adults who leave the building MUST return by 2400 or NOT be readmitted until 0600 Saturday morning. There are definite security reasons for this lockdown so please don’t try to be the exception.

SMOKING

There will be a smoking area behind the building for those officers who must. It will be 25 feet from the building at the southeast exit, which can be accessed from the Officers and Staff room on the far back end of the main Field House to the west. This is not just Sea Cadet policy it is University policy as well.

MEALS

All units should make certain that cadets eat before arrival Friday night. Reveille will be at 0600 both Saturday and Sunday. There will be three meals served on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. NO food or drink is to be brought into the building. Vending machines in Finch will be off limits to cadets.

T-SHIRTS

On Saturday the Staff and Cadets are to wear the T-shirts we will provide as part of the uniform of the day. Send me the total number of cadets who will be attending and their t-shirts sizes. Also send me the total number of staff with t-shirt sizes. I need this information by Feb 17th – no later.

NAVY BALL

On Saturday night, a Navy Ball will take place in lieu of liberty at the Student Activity Center. Therefore, full dress blue uniform will be required on the seabag list.

OFF CAMPUS LODGING FOR ADULTS

Motels in Mt. Pleasant are kind of pricey due to the Casino. It would, however, be more reasonable to bring a cot.

CHAPEL SERVICE

There will be a half hour Christian service from 0715 until 0745 Sunday morning.
